Aircraft Powerplant Company was established in August 2001 after a management buy out from what previously was the oldest existing engine workshop in Africa.

All the expertise, tooling, people, and premises from the past were bought over into what is today a modern dynamic state of the art engine shop supported by it’s various divisions:

Component division, machine shop, welding shop, NDT division, spray facility, accident investigation engine and accessory test bench facility, aircraft engine parts requirements etc.

Over a CENTURYof engine and accessory expertise are found in this workshop spread amongst it’s current personnel. Factory approved warranty shop both by Lycoming and Continental make this the ONLY one stop turnaround shop in AFRICA capable of handling ALL your engine requirements, machining, welding, etc under one roof.
